This has been a really frustrating journey. We put aside money for three years to get a new kitchen and chose Paul Davies based on some good reviews. When the installation day came, the design was all messed up, and luckily we were there to catch them putting the unit in the wrong spot. The quality of the units is decent, but the installation was a nightmare. The finish around the windowsill? Just terrible. We had to call them back multiple times to fix it. Fast forward 2.5 years, and we’re still dealing with issues. The taps keep coming loose, the washing machine started making a racket and pushed the units out of alignment, and now the freezer is broken. We’ve been waiting six weeks for a replacement, which is a real pain since we can’t freeze anything. To top it off, the dishwasher has dropped, so every time we open it, it pushes the plinth out, which has also knocked the light strip off. It feels like something goes wrong every few months. It’s exhausting. Each time a technician comes out to help (poor guy!), I can’t help but feel frustrated. After saving for so long, I should be enjoying my kitchen, but instead, I just feel let down and upset every time I step in there. I couldn’t be more dissatisfied.

We checked out the store for range cookers and were super impressed with the shop assistant who helped us out. She really knew her stuff and gave us solid, practical advice about the products without being pushy at all. After we picked the cooker we wanted, we called to place the order. The person on the other end didn’t seem too interested, and honestly, we might not have gone through with it if it weren’t for the awesome service we got in-store. So, we figured it’d be better to just pop in and chat with someone face-to-face, which turned out to be a good move. However, after that, the communication and delivery service were lacking. I got an estimated delivery date, but then there was radio silence until I received a message on Messenger saying the cooker was on its way. Since the cooker was for a rental property, it was lucky that both I and the tenant were home. I should’ve given the tenant a heads-up about the delivery and installation, which I mentioned when I ordered and paid, and I was told I’d be contacted to set up the date, but that never happened.

Fantastic deal on a Stoves Richmond cooker. Arrived right on time, and the delivery team was excellent. The cooker came in flawless shape. I can't find anything wrong with this company and will definitely be purchasing from them again!

I recently went to the store with my elderly mom to look for a toaster. When we got there, Lucy greeted us warmly and guided us to their selection. My mom found the make and model she liked, but the color she wanted wasn’t available. Lucy offered to check if they had any in stock. While we waited, she asked if my mom would like a chair to sit on, which was really thoughtful since my mom is turning 100 in May. We were happy to learn they had the toaster in stock, and after we made the purchase, another friendly assistant—sorry, I didn’t catch his name—offered to carry the toaster to the car while I stayed with my mom. Overall, it was a delightful shopping experience, and it’s refreshing to see a company that truly goes above and beyond in providing excellent customer service.

We consistently rely on Paul Davies for our appliance needs. When our washer/dryer, purchased from them over a decade ago, finally gave out, we went straight back to them and were greeted by Stuart. What a great guy—super helpful and really knows his stuff! The model I was after, which I had before, wasn’t available for a few weeks. He was incredibly supportive with his suggestions and advice. We left feeling really pleased with our new AEG washer dryer. Big thanks to Stuart!

I went in to purchase a cooker. Found the one we liked in the display area and had the chance to really check it out. Stuart helped us out and was super friendly without being overbearing. He managed to set up delivery for the same day. The two guys who brought it were fantastic. They took their time to make sure it was perfectly level and installed just right. I’ll surely suggest Paul Davies to my friends and family.

I’d definitely suggest checking out Paul Davies. It’s a big store with a solid variety of quality appliances. We just got ourselves a Leisure Range Cooker, and our previous one from this place lasted a whopping 19 years! We’ve also bought other large kitchen gadgets from Paul before. The delivery was quick, and they called us to give a heads-up that they were en route. When they showed up, they were super helpful, friendly, and polite. 🙂

I popped into Paul Davies to check out refrigerators. My old one from Curry's had given up on me way too soon. Stuart greeted me with a warm welcome as soon as I walked in.
